Description

The Unique feature of SEAMARK is that the fluorescein is bonded in a buoyant soluble matrix allowing a rapid spread over a large area and slow release on the water surface, where maximum U.V light activation of the fluorescein assures a brilliant spotting mark.

A person in distress scatters SEAMARK on the water when a potential rescue vessel or aircraft appears. It is brilliantly visible as a distress signal for up to an hour, and in good visibility can be seen by an aircraft over 10km away. A man overboard should immediately deploy SEAMARK to guide the returning vessel.
