Pilot Supplies
Description
In training the HC Ward re-useable disc is used to cover over appropriate instruments when conducting partial panel VFR Pilot simulated instrument instruction as well as IFR training, new aircraft type endorsements, bi-annual renewals and other navigational proficiency issues.
As a safety aid the cover is used when an instrument becomes non-functional and complies with CAA requirements that such instruments be clearly labelled as Inoperative.
