Description

The AirGizmo Garmin Panel Dock is allows Garmin GPSMAP 196, 296, 396, 495 and 496 portable units to be neatly installed in the aircraft panel yet, still be removable for security purposes.

The Panel Dock is designed to fit in a standard 6.25" (159mm) avionics stack but, it can be flush mounted anywhere else on the panel.

Because the GPS is removable, the installation does not require to be certified.

The GPS is held firmly in place but, can easily be removed by pulling the release tab located on the left side of the unit.

The Panel Dock looks like it belongs in a panel. The antenna and power cables slide through prefabricated "keyholes" in the back of the unit, which keeps the connectors from slipping back into the panel when the GPS is removed.
