Description

The Miniflare Kit is a personal aerial flare pack containing nine
red flare cartridges and a penjector firing mechanism enclosed
in a tough, plastic pouch.
The penjector is fitted with a stainless steel spring and striker pin
and features a unique bayonet fitting with a simple twist-on action
for loading the flare cartridge.
Operating instructions are printed on the pouch and a full instruction
booklet is included with every pack.

Miniflare is designed primarily for yachts, dinghies, personal water craft
and windsurfers but has many applications as a general purpose
distress signal for aviation, canoeing, hill walking, climbing, skiing
and other outdoor pursuits.

Expiration Dates: We will supply the most recent dates possible. However a few months, from date of manufacture can elapse due to time taken for transport to NZ & distribution. All Distress Flares carry a 3 year expiry date. This is due to the marine environment in which they are typically stored and because the pyrotechnic performance diminishes after that time. Due to the "lifeing" factor on these pyrotechnics, flares are not normally returnable.

Important Freight Note : Because of their pyrotechnic nature, distress flares will incur a 'Dangerous Goods Transport' charge as they require special transportation.
International Orders: Flares cannot be sent by post and can only be shipped by surface vessel.
We can quote freight costs.
