Hi, You're receiving this email because {name} thinks the EAM Titan XF Aviation Inflatable Life-Vest PO1253-201 would interest you.

The EAM TSO-C13f Approved Titan-XF Life Preserver is a twin chamber, manually inflatable life preserver designed for wear by passengers and crew aboard an aircraft during flight over water. It is rated for wearers weighing 40kg and over and can be adjusted to fit almost any adult body build.

While in flight, the Titan-XF is worn deflated and folded to a compact size to provide maximum comfort and mobility for the wearer. When fully inflated, the Titan-XF provides 150N of buoyancy support the wearer in a safe back-wards inclined position with the head and mouth supported clear of the water.

The Titan-XF Life Preserver is designed with deep-V, open area collar placed over the head and onto neck and shoulder area, so that the vest rests on the chest of the wearer. The vest is secured about the waist to the wearer using a harness strap with fully adjustable quick-snap buckle assembly.

Inflation of each buoyancy chamber is accomplished by triggering the 2 x CO2 cylinders. Back-up oral inflation is available for each chamber.

Each Titan XF is equipped with retro-reflective tape on the buoyancy cell, whistle and light and battery assembly. Additionally, there are two front pockets on the outer cover valise plus large pockets for storage of essential survival items such as flares, Heliograph (signalling mirror) sea-marker dye, Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) flashlight and food and water rations.

Adjustable leg straps are unobtrusively tacked away under the side pockets, ready for quick and easy deployment if required.

The Titan XF is designed for easy inspection, rearming and refolding by flight crews without having to send the unit to a repair station. The 16gram cylinders and light (available from Marinair) are readily available and can be replaced by crew members.

Aircraft owners/operators may perform service inspections at their own facility every 90 days. Period maintenance/inspection by a professional repair station is recommended every 24 months.

The outer protective fabric valise cover is tough, durable nylon oxford navy blue with velcro fasteners that disengage and release the buoyancy cells upon inflation.

Each independent buoyancy chamber is constructed of high visibility rescue yellow urethane coated nylon.
