The NEW Daniamant L160 is a SOLAS and MED approved flashing lifebuoy light, designed to withstand the toughest rigours of the commercial and offshore sectors and has been designed to replace the previous McMurdo L41B and L120 lifebuoy lights Designed to be a tamperproof, impact and corrosion resistant. The robust L160 is specifically designed to be highly resistant to accidental damage on-board. Where MED/SOLAS and USCG standards call for all lifebuoy lights to be drop tested from 30 metres. All Daniamant L160 lifebuoy lights have passed a drop test from a height of 76 metres. This makes these new L160 lifebuoy lights suitable for use on any platform or vessel with high bridge wings. The L160 lifebuoy light has a tamper proof battery that cannot be removed or expended accidentally, nor can they be activated unless removed from the container. The battery has a 5-year storage life, and is non hazardous for international shipping.
